Desper’s work was first displayed on a national platform when styled the tresses of R&B superstar Elle Varner for the cover of Runway News Magazine. Following that heightened success, Desper serves as a freelance hairstylist, styling the browns of many celebrities, such as Robin Givens, Keith Major, Yaya Dascota, Queen Naija and the official hairstylist to the 76er’s.
Desper has made many accomplishments since her career took off and she has no plans to stop. She is currently the proud co/owner of OmniTresses Extensions and OmniTresses Salon along with husband Avery Desper. The proclaimed and accredited, Multi-cultural hair-stylist, Ciara Desper is bound to be a trendsetter in her industry as she carries a true passion for her work- and best of all it comes naturally. |

We Heard You is a rising incorporated non-profit in the process of building our organization to obtain 501c3 status. Our mission is “To motivate and cultivate young males in our community, by promoting self-confidence, education, respect, value, and employment.” Our focus is geared towards young males ages 11 to 19. WE welcome all races and are culturally sensitive; encouraging inclusion in all facets of life.
WE believe that it is necessary for our young boys to have a safe and nurturing environment where they can learn and build positive relationships. They need a place to be heard and not feel compelled to be someone who always has to be tough and non-emotional.WE want to enhance their talents, dreams, and aspirations. WE want to help them discover their attributes and teach them how to sustain themselves. |

This initiative is extremely important to Nicole S. Green, founder of Motivating Young Moms, Inc. as she too became a single mother at the age of 17. While in high school, Green connected with a mentor who helped her devise a plan of reaching her goals. “As a teen mom, the one thing that was important to me was my education, my lifestyle and how each of those components would benefit my child’s life.” Green strongly believes that networking and building positive relationships help build one’s foundation to greatness. Dedicated to her community and young moms she intends to show them that their goals are still attainable. With lots of hard work, prayer and determination, Green received an associate’s degree in Vehicle Design from Macomb Community College in 1999. In 2001, she transferred to Central Michigan University where she received her bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, Green resides with her husband Keith and children Deja, Taylor and Christian in Pennsylvania and is employed with Cardone Industries as a Product Engineer. She is also Co-Owner of Senior Healthcare Advocates.
